Welcome to Pittsburgh Area Alumni Association of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia

Founded in 1898 with the purpose of promoting sociability and the best and truest fraternal spirit, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is the oldest and largest secret fraternal society in music in the world. Banded together by our common goal of building men of the highest type, Sinfonians across the country seek to win the world to Harmony through its noble object:

The Object of this Fraternity shall be for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit; the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students; the advancement of music in America and a loyalty to the Alma Mater.

The Pittsburgh Area Alumni Association was formed in 2010 and has served as the Alumni Association for Province 39 of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity. Over the years the Alumni Association has sought to continue fostering the core values of the fraternity for other alumni to share in as well as provide a wealth of knowledge and support to help guide the current collegiate brothers.

The Alumni Association meets once a month in the greater Pittsburgh Area, with an Annual Meeting in June.
